With one out and one on (R2), Nationals batter Howie Kendrick attempted to check his swing on a 2-1 fastball from Braves pitcher Shane Greene, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Rob Drake and a swinging strike on appeal by 1B Umpire Timmons, before grounding out. On-Field Ruling was reviewed and adjudicated by the UEFL Appeals Board (8-0), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Braves were leading, 5-0. The Braves ultimately won the contest, 5-0.
